My Best Friend

Friends, all of us need friends. When I was younger my granny told me that as we age our pool of friends get smaller, till one day it will be less that the number of fingers we have on our palm. I would like to share the friendship that I have enjoyed, some that have made some scars, and some I really treasure it when I needed most.

My Four Legged Friends

They make me smile when I am down, especially when my 2 legged friends have no time for me. First one to greet me when I reach home, they sense my mood and always there for me.

Is none other that my 2 lovely dogs, Rocky & Rooney. I refer them as "My R&R". I used to have many dogs in our house during childhood when my grandpa was then a hunter as his hobby. The last dog we have was a German Shepherd and died when I was 18 years old. Then I left home got married and have a family of my own but was too busy raising my 2 kids and was staying in an apartment until I managed to have a landed property in 2006. On the 2nd day after moved into our new house, I adopted Rocky who was 2 years old that time.

He used to live with many dogs as his ex-owner was a breeder so he was quite lonely at times, then I found a companion for him last year, a Beagle puppy! Wow, now my life is complete, 2 grown up daughters and 2 boys (my 2 dogs are males).

Spending time with them is fun especially now that I work from home. Here are few clips of my R&R. They are like human, fight for food, fight for attention and fight for 1st one to greet you. However I can nag and nag yet they never show their anger on me. I think they make me a better and a happier person each day!
